Lost in the Wilderness.

There is so much more to this life than walking through the forrested darkness. Come to the water. Take the plunge; I'm ready and waiting to fall. Are you?

Read this ridiculousness.

Okay...so. I'm not one for religious arguments. I'm not one for fighting over politics, or personal decisions of others. I consider myself a respectful man, one whom does not exude copious amounts of ignorance or any other manner of pride or pig-headed-ness.

But I certainly cannot let something like this go by without saying my two cents worth. This is one of those things. I guess, according to the world/BBC (any difference anymore?), I am a Christian Fundamentalist because I believe that the Bible is the "inerrant word of God", translated by man.

Number 1: I do believe the Bible IS the inerrant word of God, but since it has been translated by man, over a period of thousands of years, it is fallible. Going through the council of Nicea, the many years and different incarnations of the church, the Catholic church and the Holy Wars. All of it. The Bible is not the complete whole it should be, and I believe there are plenty of missing parts. The only way I will then be able to find my own stance is to read the Codex myself. The words of "atheistic scientists" about the word my Lord and God is not the best way to figure out the answers to these things.

Number 2: I like how they portray the passages in the Bible, and apparently the Codex, where the Jews yell and plead for Pilate to free the murderer, Barabbas, and to turn Jesus over to them so they could kill him as "anti-semitic". Never mind the fact that IT DID HAPPEN THAT WAY. Even non-Christian historians, scholars, professors, and scientists agree that the Bible has the most historical written pieces confirming the accuracy of the statements of the New Testament. It is one of the most historically accurate documents in the history of mankind, and they know it, and acknowledge it. So someone tell me: Why the HELL are we being portrayed as anti-semitic when we believe that the Jews asked for Jesus to be killed?

I hope that people would read these things, study these documents, and think of the answers for themselves instead of agreeing with everything they are frocefed on Sundays at "church" and on the news. I want this culture and society to open their minds, think about things, and come up with answers, TRUE ANSWERS, from their own time and talks with God.

Have fun all. I'm going to bed.
